Thy Kingdom Come in BAM

The Kingdom and Kingdom of God language is being used a lot more in churches and ministries. That's a good thing! I often see faith based businesses, parachurch orgs, and individuals outside the church use it as a descriptor to describe their mission.

Kingdom is a loaded term with a long past. I wrote this piece for Religions to help people understand the conversation around Kingdom, and to choose a definition that helps pursue holistic initiatives that guards against withdrawal on one hand and social gospel on the other. I wrote it specifically within the Business as Mission context, but you could apply it to other contexts as well. Enjoy if you are interested!
